"Krabi lorrr ...."
"Huh? Where? Never heard before ..."
This were the common response I got when I told my friends or colleague where I went to recently ... And, for me, until the day of departure I still thought I am going to an Island ... I was so wrong ... So, some geography knowledge to share :
Krabi is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, at the shore of the Andaman Sea. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Phang Nga, Surat Thani (Koh Samui) , Nakhon Si Thammarat and Trang. The Phuket province to the west is also neighboring, but without any land boundary. The province is located at the shore to the Andaman Sea. Most notable are the solitary limestone hills, both on the land and in the sea as islands. Rock climbers from all over the world travel to Railay Beach to climb. Of about 130 islands belonging to the province, Koh Phi Phi Ley is perhaps the most famous, as it was the set of the movie The Beach. Other islands include: Ko Phi Phi Don, part of the Phi Phi Islands.
This post came a little late ... It's because I don't know how to write it this time ... I had a lot of fun although we didn't go to so many places... Before we went for this trip, i told FL that I had a feeling that this would be our last trip together ... Don't know why I felt that way ... Hopefully, i am wrong ... OK back to our Krabi trip ... It supposed to be a fun post !!!
After a starter meal at LCCT's McD, we were off to Krabi .... Wee wee ... Here we come ... See how happy were we on the plane ... Ehem ... A little bit loud on the plane ... SHould control control ... Behave my friends ... :P
Without wasting our time, we headed to our first destination of the day - Crystal Pool. Our guide, 'Yew' or 'Ewe' led us to a jungle trek. And, I falled on my way to the crystal pool... On a pile of mud ... But, I think it's a blessing in disguise ... AHahah ... If not, i wouldn't go into the pool ... But, when I walked into the deeper part of the pool, I started to grab strongly on addy's hand la ... ekeke ... Nevertheless, I had fun there ... My favourite spot in Krabi I would say ... After cold water, we proceed to a hot spring which is not far away from the pool...
After the wet session on the cold and hot pool, we went to a temple where our tour guide were two dogs !!! The dog was so smart that he showed us the way to the 300++ steps, to the VERY BIG tree, to the cave .... Next time if we are to go there again, we are happy to let the dog to show us the way again i think ... hihihihi...
Our 2nd day trip was supposed to be island hopping activities but rainman loves us so much that it was really a bad idea to go out to the sea. There were not even a boat who were willing to go out .... So, we ended up on James Bond Island .... According to Nick, the name of the Bond movie had something to do with the 'Golden Gun'.
After a tasteless lunch at the Muslim Fishing Village, we went to a temple again where this time. there were a lot of monkeys strolling around the compund of the temple . One of the monkey even demonstrated the art of stealing ... The monkey did it easily and immediately the rest of the troops gathered around the looter ... Scary ... End up we all fast fast walked in a group ...
Hmmm... That's it ... The rest of the days were to Krabi town ... THe trip looked like nothing but it was sure a hectic one... 3D 2N is definitely not enuff !!!!
Some of our/my favorite / fun moments :
1. Eating session : We eat everywhere all the time ... In the boat, on the island, in the supermarket ... We had pork everyday, every meal (except the meal at the Muslim village). Omelete pork, pork burger, samurai pork, bacon, croissant with pork .... Tom Yam, Green Curry, cold banana, pan cake ...

3. My experience with the bath tub ... Even had someone to prepare it for me ... kekeke ... How do I spent the time ? Listening to the gossips in the room ... Juicy ... :P
