The End of 2008
I can't believe it's the last day of year 2008. It's like everything just happened yesterday. Time really flies. How is year 2008 to you all? Overall, i think it has been good ... I feel lucky and blessed ...
At work, I feel lucky when the bosses encouraged me to accept the position that I am in now. Not many people have the opportunities that I had and I appreciated it. Personally, I feel that it is too soon and to-date, I don't think I have been doing a good job on it ... Maybe I don't try hard enough ... But, after working a few years, the attitude has changed. I'm not the one who is fresh from the uni .... Priorities have changed ... I hope after a few days off and away from the office, I will feel refresh and recharge ... Ganbateh !!!!
Year 2008 is certainly a busy year for me. I'm so happy to be able to travel to a few places, i.e. Singapore, Krabi, Bangkok, Sungai Lembing, Awana Kijal (Kemaman), Melaka, Port Dickson and Genting. Most of the trip left a memorable chapter in my life.
Year 2008 also sees me joined a FUN RUN and several WALK. hahaha... Towards a healthy lifestyle ... Yippie !!! Because of the run and walk, I started to walk at the Taman Tasik Permaisuri on Sunday (and I feel good about it :) Better start doing it again this Sunday ekeke)
In terms of relationship, I was in one but for a short period of time. To think about it now, maybe I didn't try hard enough to make it work. Thank you for all the care and effort. Do I regret for starting it? I think no just that I regret how it ended. I'm really sorry. I really really do ... Despite my failure, I am happy to see 2 of my close friends able to find their loved one this year. Last weekends also was one of the happiest time and fun I had. Two close friends finally getting married. And, for the rest of us who are still single, ganbateh neh !!!
So, i am thankful to have a supportive family and friends around me. Besides my family, a bunch of my close friends have been the light of my life. You all know who you are ... I hope ... ekeke :P
What is waiting for me in 2009? No resolutions as usual, I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

- Singapore (my first JC's concert. A few years back, I wouldn't even dream of going to another country to watch a concert. This is so not me :P)
- Krabi (our gang's annual trip. short and sweet. it was fun)
- Bangkok (chick's trip, loads of shoppings and also the nite talk)
- Sungai Lembing and Awana Kijal (i've always said that I never been to that part of Malaysia. I'm glad I did. I love Awana Kijal... ekeke... I'll be back)

Mamma Mia musical
It all started with the movie, starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan (and other casts, etc) . Catchy songs, funny dances ... It's a yes when FL asked whether I am interested on the musical ... I love live performances ...
This would be my 4th musical play and I like it more compared to Beauty & The Beast. But then, Jacky Cheung's SNow WOlf Lake still the best .. ekekeke ... Not only because he is my fav singer, but the stage was impressive too. I feel that Istana Budaya has a limited space and therefore, they couldn't do much with the settings ...
Definitely looking forward to more live musical performance in year 2009 ... Lee Hom's concert maybe ?? :)
p/s: mamma mia is an Italian expression of surprise or anguish.

Singapore : Christmas and Marathon
It started with Singapore and after 12 months, it ended with Singapore too ...
It happens also because friends joined the Singapore International Marathon event. I thought, since we are not going to have our usual year end trip like the years before, why not follow them? I wanted to see the Xmas decorations that people talk so much about .... The only thing that I saw earlier this year was people taking down the decoration, so sad :(
Also, not forgetting the Marathon event ... Although I didn't run, I must say the event was really fun and exciting ... The music, the atmosphere, etc .... Standing at the finishing line was a great experience... The expression of the people who completed the run ... It was amusing to see people do the YMCA hand sign when they run towards the finishing line ... It was touching to see people holding hands and run towards the finishing line ... It was aspiring to see disabled person to complete the race using their hands only ... Also, to see friends who run back into the race to encourage their buddies to complete the race ...
Luckily, i followed you out that morning, Foong Ling. If not, I would miss all this ... :)

Guoman Hotel, Port Dickson
December 2008 is a busy month generally ... Somehow, there are always things to do during the weekends ... Trips, training, weddings, music play, etc ...
It kicked start with a training program conducted by company for the new AM. This year they sent us to the seaside, Guoman Hotel - Port Dickson.
I enjoyed training ... Nothing to do with technical, just some softskills ... Explorace, management game, performance, food, food and a lot of food ....
One of the game that I like to share is this management game : Gold of the Desert Kings.
Gold of the Desert Kings addresses the issue of effort versus productivity. Participants are placed in circumstances with limited time and resources and must rely on their team to achieve their goals. The pressures and anxiety experienced in Gold of the Desert Kings are similar to those experienced daily in a hectic work schedule. Participants contend with deadlines, a perceived lack of resources, others’ point of view and the pressure to just do something while trying to accomplish team objectives.
Teams rush to compete against each other in this challenging race across the desert. Their goal? Battle the elements to get to the mountains to mine for as much gold as possible and return home alive. Teams are forced to be as productive as possible with limited time and resources. Participants will experience the benefits of teamwork, planning, setting goals and taking necessary risks.

By the end of the game, my team was the last team to arrive home but we were not bad, No. 2 ... Initially, we thought that we would die rich, buried with all the golds at the King's Tomb ... ahaha ...
Sunset, blocked by the cloud.
In the training, teams were asked to prepare a performance for the nite. The theme was Beach Movie. It was entertaining to see how people who always dealt with numbers came out with the ideas. We had the Movie Jaws (where the shark ended as shark fin in a bowl), Cast Away (where 'Tom Hanks' was rescued by Baywatch babes), Pirate of the Carribeans (where Captain Jack Sparrow was rescued by a local leng lui on a deserted island, accompanied with the Kuch Kuch Kota Hai music as the back ground music), etc .... My team, we danced, based on the movie Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen song... So long i didn't dance in front of so many people... I think since Kindergarten til now ... kekeke ... Memalukan :P
And this, so many years I didn't play the arcade game already ... I suck !!!! kekeke ... But, it was fun and my fingers were tired too ...
I really don't mind if they want me to send me to this kind of training again .... hhihihihi
