This blog really starts to collect dust ! Put that aside, i feel i should document this down ... 

Today is a special day.  A day where you can see a lot of blue fingers on your Facebook.  A day where people claim to see 'ghost' on broad daylight.       

Well, today is D-day.  The day where the Rakyat decides the future of the country.  The day where the current government receive their report cards for the past 5 years. 

Few years back, i didn't remember we had this kind of atmosphere.  It's just another day where most of the youngster were not involved.  But, now ... it's so different.  People lining up early morning to fulfill their responsibility.  Friends who were passionate about this even lend their hand to ensure the process runs smoothly.  Interesting video parody, creative advertisements and slogans.  Even the newbies in my company were so excited to cast their first vote in their life ...  

Well, I've done my part.  Let's see the outcome tonight.  This would be really an interesting night.

     

BB says hello ...

The family is actually anticipating the arrival of the new family member during the CNY.  Anyway, I guess BB decided to let us have our celebration first, then only she comes to say hi ...

All 3 grandpa and grandmas look happy.  Bro look tired.  LoL !!! Me? Well, I'm a happy 姑妈 ... Yepp ! I don't mind.  It's a fact anyway.  So, Shawn, Eva, Wayne, etc ... can call me aunty too ... Hahahaha ...  

It will be a new lifestyle in our family already i guess.  WELCOME BB !!! We shud be having fun soon. 

Note to myself, cannot play hp in front BB, no more KNS or SHIT or @(#&(*@# in front of BB ....

Ada gula ada semut

One evening, a dad was watching tv with his grown-up kids.  Then, they heard the mom from the kitchen .... Wah!!! so fast got ants already....

Dad: Of course, whenever there is food, there will be ants.  You never hear before the Malay saying "Ada gula ada semut" ?

Kid 1: Where got such saying.  I never come across.  Kekekeke .... You just make it up !

Kid 2: Yeah lorr ... hahahaha ....

Dad: You don't believe me ? I really read it before, during my school days ...

Kid 1: (Still don't believe, she googled up) Omg ! Really have such peribahasa ...
Kid 2: [gulp]

Dad : [Start to brag] Aiyaaa... you two.... Study so high also don't know the saying.  Ish ish ish.... You must always listen to the old one .... Hahahahhaha ...

This year it's the year of Ssssss .... But, hope everyone don't snake too much horr .... Notice that now more ppl wish to have good health and live peacefully.  So, it's the same for me.

Shooting Stars <喝彩〉

I'm glad that SY asked me to go watch this.  It's not the usual BIG and heavy budget show I watched before like 雪狼湖, Beauty and the Beast, Mama Mia, etc ... The whole musical is only by 3 person with a simple stage, good lighting and nice audio effect.  

The story is about the life of 3 good friends, Paul - the DJ, and the two famous legend singer, Leslie Cheung and Danny Chan.  The story starts from how the 3 person had become buddies since the school day, how they enter into the entertainment industry and the stress and problem that they faced until the last second of their life.  Their life is short but glory ...

Somehow, after finish watching the play, I feel sorry for them cos somethings were lost due to fame.  Anyway, loads of good songs ... I heard many of the songs before but I didn't know that it's actually from the famous two ...

It's a good way to de-stress after work ... Maybe should start looking for this kind of play where the tix is not so expensive ... Anyone want to join ???

Home

After weeks of running up and down, I am finally settling down ... After two years plus, we are home ... We finally have one, although technically, it's not really ours until we finish paying the loan.... A nice cosy one ... Love the house but going to work every morning can make my BP hike up... So, it's time to change my mindset, pyscho myself, hopefully everything will go smoothly ....

Making this decision had burnt a big hole in the pocket ... But, looking at how mom smile talking about it, how dad introduced his design proudly to the visitors worth it all ...

Hopefully, we will build a lot of good and happy memories here ...

Year 2013

Happy New Year !  Oooops, i'm 13 days late.  Not a good start to this blog.  Life has been busy since end of 2012.  There are some changes in the job and a new environment in life ... Year 2013 will be an exciting year I guess ... Will discover whether the new role is suitable or the old one suits me more ...

I'm really looking forward to this year ... Fighting !

It's time of the year again where I need to clear my annual leaves ! My favourite activity in working life :P  Past years had been fun where I would spend it with some vacation, usually at overseas ... Hong Kong, Taiwan, all the good memories ...

Turning off the working mode now !!! It's time to take a break .... Yay !!!

光棍节

光棍节 was introduced in the morning radio show recently.  I find this interesting cos it's very much related to my status now.   

It's celebrated today, 11 November every year.  Looking at the date 11.11, can guess what this celebration is all about ? Hehehe ... It's Singles Day ! 

Information from Wikipedia :

Singles' Day was initially celebrated at various universities in Nanjing during the 1990s, and originated from Nanjing University in 1993. It got the name Singles Day because the date consists of four "ones". These college students have since graduated, and carried the university tradition into society. The Singles Day has been largely popularized in the internet era and is now a special day for all fashionable youths.
 
The main way to celebrate Singles' Day is to have dinner with your single friends, but it's important that each person pay their own way to show their independence. Some send short messages or e-mails to their single friends to deliver their best wishes. People also hold 'blind date' parties in an attempt to bid goodbye to their single lives. Not every single is happy on this day. They may tease themselves for being still single as a university student. Some prefer to watch movies in a theatre. Some schools of a university would put forward a special program to gather singles together for celebration.

For breakfast on Singles' Day, singles often eat four Youtiao (deep-fried dough sticks) representing the four "ones" in "11.11" and one Baozi (steamed stuffed bun) representing the middle dot.

Note to myself, to eat youtiao next year... Hehehehe ... So, to my friends who are still single, 光棍节快乐... Hope you all will find your happiness soon enough yeah .....

爸爸说， 他们小时候的中秋节是非常的热闹。。。
家家都会团圆的聚在一起，吃月饼，提灯笼， 赏月亮。。。
特别的是，大部分的家都会有一‘zhan' 跑马灯。。。
好有气氛啊！！！

但是。 最重要的是大家都团圆，一家人是平平安安，健健康康。。。

It's time of the year again when the workload is hellish ... Here comes the endless working nights and when it's time to go home, I just want to reach home as soon as possible.  But, it's just one of the night that make my "evil twin" want to jump out and shoot the people on the road ...

Stuck in the jam at 10pm at night, someone's car broke down which led the whole stretch of road jam, superslow turtle car who brake all the time eventhough there is nothing in front, driver who can't decide which lane to go ended in the middle of two lanes ....

Aaarrrghhhhh !!!! Rely kek sei yan ....

友个快乐时光 Part II

Although this happened nearly a month ago, I just want to document it down for my future pleasure reading ... LoL!  In less than half a year, Jacky came back to KL again to perform his 1/2 century concert ... The first time I did something crazy was to go down Singapore just to watch him perform.  That was my first time attending his concert.  And now, I went to the same concert TWICE !!! The 2nd time, I even opted for the VVIP seat @@  I can see him clearly, the real person, all his expression .... So busy looking at the real person that I din really watch the short film in detail ...

Reading back this post, my last sentence was I am definitely watching and, I did ... When I heard about it, I was praying that there will be only one show this time.  So, it was and somehow, I felt that it will be something that I will never forget ... Due to his condition last year, I know it would be a great show.  He will perform his best to compensate his fans ..... In the end, we were not disappointed.  Sang extra hours til after midnite, 40++ songs, 360 degree stage, mini helicopters, etc ... 

It was amazing.... His voice was really really good that day ... clear ... I was mesmerised by it  .... NOw, that's the voice that had introduced a lot of CHinese words to me ... That's the voice that had introduced music to my life ... That's the voice that had and still accompanying me during long office hour and traffic jams ....   

This time, I learnt about this old song 心碎了无痕 ... Wow, it's really nice ... My first time hearing it :P  No wonder the person sitting in front of me was so excited when he announced this song.  I was telling SY how I wish he will sing my favourite song, 真情流露.... As if he heard me, he belted out a few minutes later ... I was in cloud 9 !!!! 

Till we meet again but please don't come so soon ... Need to recover back the big hole ... No more concerts for this year !!!!
